Doug is a Founding Partner of Hammerco Lawyers with offices in Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

He was called in 2005 and heads the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group, specializing in high quantum contingency matters. He has been lead counsel in numerous trials and proceedings in the Supreme Court of BC.

Doug is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and regularly appears in Chinese-Canadian media discussing various legal topics. He is also an avid road cyclist and cannot wait until races and events return.

Hammerco Lawyers is made up of 70 members; all of different origins, culture and background. Doug chairs the firm’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity Committee which began in the Summer of 2020. They are committed to causes related to anti-violence, pro-equality and the mental and physical health of their team.
